Cognitive biases as requirements for human enhancement

When reviewing cognitive biases it leads me to recall Nicolaus Copernicus's work in Heliocentricity (De revolutionibus orbium coelestium / On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres) which challenged the belief of an Earth-centered universe.  History tells us that through the original work of Copernicus and the further work of Galileo Galilei the redefinition of the center of the solar system was changed to be centered on our central star, the sun.

It is with a similar approach by which I would encourage you to look at our human fragility to determine approaches to redefining the everyday reality we all contend with.  By pursuing solutions which help us better understand decisions that need to be made, our interactions with the world around us, and create a deeper understanding of the cause and effect of our actions we enable a greater well-being for ourselves, our fellow humans, and the environment around us.

My premise is: all human enhancements will eventually need to address our biological, cognitive, and environmental limitations. Through the addition and application of technologies such as artificial intelligence (deep learning, machine learning), genetic advancements, and wearable devices we can create a future that frees us from limitations, errors, and biases that affect our daily lives.

Technological updates to bias mapping will be added as these topics are explored over time.
